Wheel of Fortune

Representing the natural order of all things within the realm of the knowable world, the Wheel of Fortune always turns at its preordained speeds to produce the cycle of life and death, success and failure, good and bad. All things happen in their time, it is the only the Wheel that knows for certain when.

Keywords: luck, fortune, destiny, fate, good karma, cycle

General Meaning: Big changes are coming and momentum is gathering.

Personal Interpretation: The wheel never stops turning, it's up to you whether you grab on tight or wait it out until the next cycle. Just be careful the next cycle isn't too late!

Reversed Meaning: bad luck, misfortune, disorder, chaos, bad karma, setbacks and delays

Affirmation: "I shape my own destiny, I write my own fate, all actions reveal their results accordingly."

Symbolism: four corners, sphinx, divine wheel and elements, snake, Anubis

Imagery Notes: four corners - representations of the four fixed zodiac signs: Aquarius, Scorpio, Leo, and Taurus; sphinx - knowledge and strength; divine wheel and elements - contains Hebrew letters for TORA (meaning law) and the name of God, within the center of the wheel are also the alchemical symbols for mercury, sulfur, water, and salt; snake - symbol of evil and descent from holy and divine consciousness to limited mortal senses; Anubis - Egyptian god of death

People: Fortuna/Tyche, The Moirai/The Fates (Clotho, Lachesis, Atropos), Warren Buffett

Places: Ferris wheels, hospitals, fairy rings

Personal Insights & Other Notes: You spin me right 'round, right 'round, like a Wheel of Fortune, baby! As the representation of the natural order, the Wheel is kind of like a catch-all package as it sees through time and space to merge the divine with the mundane and let you know you're getting what you deserve -- whether that's good or bad, you probably already know.
